Interlude

An oil painting of about 46 x 38 cm large, custom-made for a client who wishes to present the painting as a gift to a good friend.

The style and content of the painting has been left open for the artist to develop freely and the only clue was that this good friend, the subsequent owner of this painting, likes fishing. The resultant painting is one of a tranquil landscape with little figures fishing peacefully. Like a little reminder that one should always spare some moment, an interlude at appreciating Nature's beauty.
