From April 2nd to 13th,2014, Monocircus was a part of the exhibition event, ARTNEXUS at Level 8 of Shibuya Hikarie the plaza just above the SHIBUYA train station in Tokyo. Entitled, ARTNEXUS Blue Platform – art x architecture x digital, it is an exhibition produced by ARTNEXUS directed by Tomio Koyama, featuring a varied range of paintings, sculptures, photography works and architectural drawings, as well as MONOCIRCUS’ 3d printed fashion accessories. For the event, we specially created a set of display and as usual it needed to be easy to assemble, dissemble and be carried about. A table unit made of simply assembled plywood planks with plastic round containers covered over in a white lycra fabric. Then there is a hanging display made of multiple stainless steel wires bent into U-shape that combine to form a simple yet elegant display hung from the ceiling.
